Call for ALC Training Program applications 2025/26
On behalf of the DSTI and the CSIR Photonics Centre we herewith invite proposals for the African Laser Centre Training program for the 2025/26 funding cycle. The program supports training related events involving researchers and students active in the field of laser and laser-based applications from South African and African research institutions. The program specifically supports the following type of training events in laser and laser application related fields.
- Conferences / Workshops / Symposia
- Young researcher and/or technician training schools
This call excludes applications for ALC Scholarships or ALC Knowledge Exchange Program projects, a separate call will be launched in September 2025 for these two ALC programs.

Please note that the call for proposals closes on 24 March 2025. No late submissions will be considered.
